Tips on using MORINGA

If you found the last post about MORINGA interesting, this one may be of use to you as well...

Let me give you a couple tips from my experience...

1. You will definitely clean out your bowels when you first start using it. I mean just straight up clean house! This miracle plant does so much for your body to include removing heavy metals, and its all gotta go!  If you are generally healthy and have good habits already you may need to cut the dose in half, so instead of 2 teaspoons/8g cut it to 1 teaspoon/4g.

2. If you have health conditions make a journal notation of how you feel before you start taking it. If you have body aches that you just deal with, or digestive issues, difficulty managing blood sugars (Type 2 diabetics), blood pressures, etc then start to journal how you feel each day as you take the MORINGA. You will want to be able to have something to show your doctor when they are congratulating you on making progress to your best life.

3. It does not taste good.  I am sorry folks, but it seems to me that most things that are good for you either hurt, don't taste very good, or you have to put in tons of effort (marriage, raising children, a career--I will be talking about those things soon). My friend told me that she adds it to her PropelⓇ and the taste is much more tolerable. I would hate for you to miss the tremendous health benefits because you can't just chug it down. Personally, I use water and just make it happen. It is one way to make sure I am getting some of the water I need in a day.

4. ADVICE: Mix MORINGA with a smoothie, this way you don't have to deal with that. You may not always want a smoothie, so mix with 6-8 oz water, apple juice, PropelⓇ, or your choice liquid (try to minimize the refined sugar) chug and chase with 6-8 oz water.
            ****UPDATE****
I have learned, from an athlete with ACL repair, that you can add it to some applesauce and it makes it much more tolerable. I have tried it and it works! Then you drink you 6-8 oz water after.

5. It would be good to start this supplement just AFTER getting blood work done from a physical. If you are diabetic or pre-diabetic this would be a great thing to do right after you get your A1C. A normal A1C is less than 6. Basically, it is a measure of the average blood sugar levels of the previous 3 months before the test. So, starting this after there is great potential to see improvement to those numbers, even if you maintain the same diet and exercise but add the MORINGA. In any event, it is worth a try.

6. CHECK YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE. You should do this before starting the MORINGA and twice weekly while taking it. Journal your numbers as this is a good way to see what is happening in your body as a result of using MORINGA. My friend experienced a lowering of crazy high blood pressures, and she was taking medication at the time as well...clearly it wasn't working. She continued the pharmaceuticals as prescribed and added MORINGA, then she began to notice a difference. Experience tells me it takes a couple weeks to see a difference, but it is worth the tiny bit of effort to see your blood pressure improve and decrease your risk of HEART ATTACK and STROKE....I'm just saying.

7. For those that don't have any diagnosed (by a qualified physician) health issues, but you feel tired or run-down and want to just feel better, you should journal your general feelings in your body the week before you start MORINGA. Journal changes in sleep, mood, activity level, hunger, constipation, etc and see what changes as you continue the supplement. You will be pleasantly surprised when you take notice of the difference.

Well, these are all my tips for now. If any of you use this supplement or have tips, leave them in the comment section.

Miracle Plant--Moringa Oleifera?!?!

So, I've noticed a trend in people trying to eat healthy, taking all types of vitamins and supplements but the incidence of obesity, heart disease (number one killer for both men and women), type 2 diabetes (even in children!), cancer is continuing to rise!  I won't bore you with facts here, but I have posted some and their associated sources below. The question I personally have is... IS THERE ANYTHING THAT WILL HELP? It is known fact that managing diet and activity are two key factors in minimizing risk of developing these conditions, but sometimes, more often than not--IT'S NOT ENOUGH. I cannot state with 100% certainty, but I do believe that the food we consume is not as nutritious as it was say 40, even 20 years ago. Foods we have today are packed full of unnecessary preservatives and refined sugars. It's no wonder the health of our nation has declined and the profit margins for pharmaceuticals has increased exponentially. So, again with my question...IS THE...
